The eco-tannery Saigon TanTec has recently inaugurated its new solar thermal facility, which will cover 35% of its hot water needs. This is the first project carried out by SEN Vision in collaboration with its partner Aschoff Solar GmbH in the field of thermal solar energy.

The facility comprehends 120 panels in an area of 400 m², which heat 30 m³ water up to 65ºC. Every single step in the process is automatically monitored and can be controlled by software. An extension of the plant is foreseen by the end of the year.

Saigon TanTec has been awarded the 2^nd Prize in Energy Efficiency from the German Energy Agency in view of its consistent implementation of innovative technologies in the field of energy and environmental engineering.

Aschoff Solar is specialised in solar thermal systems and other energy efficiency solutions for large-scale facilities, such as industrial plants, apartment houses, hotels, sport and swimming facilities or camping sites.
